Hello! My name’s Sophie, I use any pronouns, and I’m a 19-year-old college student from the USA. I am a humanities major, aspiring professor, semi-frequent runner, and a big fan of 2010s pop music. As a child, I was an avid reader and a prolific writer, but my enjoyment of those two activities slowly began to decrease as I progressed through school. Upon arriving at college and being able to study what I am passionate about, I realized that I hadn’t grown to dislike writing, I just hadn’t been writing about what I loved. I haven’t written for fun in quite a while, but I hope that this Substack will help me rediscover the joy of putting words on a (digital) page.
